Transatlantic Ocean Crossings some cruises are more about sea than land. Once you have found the Transatlantic cruise of your choice, follow the path of the great Spanish and Portuguese sailors as you head across the Atlantic bound for the New World. For people who love the sea, a transatlantic cruise crossing recalls classic cruising at its best: days of peace and freedom and nights filled with fine dining and dancing. Longer transatlantic cruise trip itineraries offer a truly epic adventure. Unpack only once and enjoy comfortable, luxurious accommodations throughout your cruise vacation.

Transatlantic cruise April

Suggestion: On a westbound cruise, passengers get an extra bonus: an added hour of sleep most nights of the cruise (those headed eastbound, alternately, lose an hour most nights) because clocks are moved back five hours throughout the journey.

Suggestion: If you book a balcony cabin, you may want to opt for the side of the ship facing south for more sun (port going westbound, starboard headed east). Fares shown are in U.S. dollars and are per person, based on double occupancy.
Suggestion: Consider upgrading your cabin category for a trip during which you'll spend more time at sea than not; there's nothing more claustrophobic than a tiny, dark cabin when you're spending a lot of time onboard. And conversely there's nothing lovelier than a suite, with indulgent bath and a spacious balcony, as a place in which to retreat. As well, the low-key pace means there's plenty of time for downtime -- long tub soaks, reading novels on the balcony.
